a family is in a car accident and everyone gets out of the burning car except the older sister "MARY" she then comes back to haunt and get revenge on her family who intentionally did not try to save her for the burning car.
but she manipulates her younger sister to do her "revenge killing"
i remember one scene barely where its the mothers turn to die and she gets chased down a big flight of stairs in the house while a pizza cutter slowly carves its way down the railing to her. im not sure if the younger daughter was walking with the pizza cutter but it was meant to look like it was being moved by an evil spirit.
if its called "mary" i will kick myself. very early 80's and i hate horror movies but never forgot this one
