i almost freaking fell asleep last night during the episode!!
i was bored....it's getting boring they need to do the dave chapelle bit from his show......."WRAP IT UP!".
i have watched every episode and never felt the way i did last night, i think if i turned it off or fell asleep i would not have missed anything significant with the show!

I liked it. I thought it was pretty intersting, and very strange. I think you're right though. It does feel like nothing significant was shown.

If you don't like the show anymore then just don't watch it, simple as that...

BTW, I don't get all you people urges to get some explanations in EACH AND EVERY damn episodes...Its only season 3...Just fucking wait...

You don't need a summary- you can watch them for free at ABC's website almost as soon as they've aired. That's how my Mrs. caught up with the season 3 stuff.

I lost interest after season 1. I loved the show when it was more supernatural and had the "man vs. nature" feeling to it. Now, with the "evil suburb" and all the "man vs. man" stuff, there's no mystery to it.

last episode was the most bullshit episode in all 3 of the series so far.

It was blatently only just writen in that Desmond has any time travel ability.

It's too fucking farfetched.


Polar bears? i can deal with that, zoological research, right?

The island healing people? Sure, people get cured by "miracles" sometimes...


But time travel? Fuck off you pricks.

ok. yeah, the episode does sound pretty lame from what you said DR...

but I found a good scene by scene summery of the episode and I've come to the conclusion that i think desmond didn't really time travel, it was just a vision sent to him from the island to convince him of something, in this case that he can see the future. we know that has happened to several characters, experincing something that was far fetched and that they thought was real but turned out to be not real and not really what they thought it was. the point of the vision wasn't what they actually saw but just something that they wanted or needed to see to help them reach a personal catharsis. maybe for desmond it's that he can't control everything so he should just let it go and let the chips fall where they may. all the while he always worked so hard to get penny, but she loved him and wanted to be with him and it didn't matter what her father said, and he really didn't have to do anything to prove himself to her.

I'm not convinced that desmond can really see the future, maybe he just thinks he can. like when charlie thought that he had to save claires baby, but it turned out that he was just paranoid and the real threat was from himself. That's one of the all time themes of the show, asking the question where do you draw the line between fate and coincidence?

dickhead!!~ i wasn't asking for an explanation. i never said i don't like the show anymore i'm in it for the long haul but the last show just plain old sucked. even better and more far fetched is the guy waking up while getting back surgery! WHAT!
i guess that doesn't hurt? would he not have said "HEY DOC I'M WAKING UP PLEASE PUT ME UNDER THE PAIN IS TERRIBLE"!
some stuff doesn't make sense and will be explained in time hopefully.
and MAIDEN wasn't it also season 3 which pretty much sealed the fate of the sopranos? another show that needs to "WRAP IT UP"

Always complaining...I think its ridiculous...I still really enjoy the show! People are too rushed... I understand that they want some explanations(I also do), but their are just some things that can only be explained at the end or else it would ruin the show...

Well, I don't guess it matters what you think is ridiculous, or what I think. If the rating aren't there, the show will face a premature end. I'd like to see some answers to some things, but I'm not in as big a rush as many are I guess, and I'm in it for the long haul, but everything else he said was just dead on.

They absolutely took the momentum that the show had going for it away with that excessively long break, and moving it to 10 was just stupid! Think about it. Everything that ABC has had in that timeslot has died off, "Invasion", "The Nine". And those two shows had an incredible show leading into them! LOST!

If the show dies, ABC, and the LOST producers have nothing to blame but their own mis-management of an incredible show.

I love this show because it's NOT another cop, doctor, or lawyer show as the article brought up. It's original, and it's unique.

I can say this though; whenever the series ends, if they cancel it without explaining EVERYTHING, I will never watch ABC again!!!
