Louis CK's new show: Louie

I'm a big fan of 'Louie'......I say that to preface the 'Mom' episode, because as much of a fan of the show that I am, even I thought that particular episode was rather lame (that was also the cop episode, I think).

Though, the first time I saw the show (the poker game + dating episodes back to back) was also the same night I tried stand-up (my own set) for the first time, too (so maybe there was an emotional attachment).

indeed it's a series of vignettes as to the question of what you find funny on the show...honestly there's a lot of funny here but i like how they let a scene run some times til it's uncomfortable, most shows cut scenes way too early

there isn't a funnier sitcom on television.

The first season is on Netflix (instant) if anyone wants to check it out

I caught the second episode (poker scene) last year after I got done doing stand-up (myself) and was hooked. The 'high' episode was just brilliant.

Did anyone catch Talking Funny with Ricky Gervais, Louis CK, Jerry Seinfeld and Chris Rock? Very interesting hearing them talk shop and some really hilarious moments (Louis C.K. mentioning how great it would be if Seinfeld came up with a "******" bit).
