Making new FAQs for the Board

Hi guys. One of the projects I've been slowly working on is revamping the FAQs on the board from the default to actually reflecting the board rules and features.

So far I have all of the existing FAQs edited down to reflect the board as it is. I plan on shifting the walk throughs that currently are located at the bottom of the board rules to the FAQs so I can clean up the rules a little bit. I'll also add some screen shots to help make certain things clearer.

Now, I have my own list of what I'm going to be adding to the FAQs that isn't already there but I might have missed something. What do you think would be helpful for new people as well as members who have been around awhile?

Suggestions are very welcome!

I actually put that on my list this morning before making this post. I also have signatures (having to check the box), points, infractions, OCSMs, and syncing accounts.

I think it says I have 24 now under my name. Does that mean 24 people rep'd me? Or I can give rep to 24 people now? Both?

If I understand right, you can trade Rep Power in for MyFreeOnes points to buy stuff. Why would people want to rep others then if they're trying to collect points to buy stuff? :dunno:

At the rate I'm going it will be 20 years before I meet the requirements to have my own saying/title under my name. I would consider making a donation to FreeOnes for it. :2 cents:

Artimus, for instance, has between 78115 and 78125 rep points, your rep power is 1/10 of your rep points, in this case 7812. If he reps someone, that person will get rep points equal to 1/10 of the rep power the repper has, in this case that would be 781 rep points.

So you have between 235 and 245 rep points and a rep power of 24. If you rep someone, he or she gets 2 rep points.

So if you want rep points, post a lot & you'll be repped (if they're good posts). Also rep others. Keep in mind that there's a limited amount of people you can rep per day (10 or 20 if I'm not mistaken) and if you rep someone you first have to rep a limited amount of other people before you can rep the original poster again (not for the same post though).

Oh and you don't spend your points when repping others. The others just get points, you don't lose them.

It's a software default since Admin aren't restricted to a certain amount of times we can rep someone so the number is 10. I suppose it can be changed, I've never bothered to take a look at it.

I just like moaning about it and getting pity.
