St. Johns County deputies arrested a man early Sunday morning on suspicion of calling 911 twice requesting a police escort to drive him to Miami to see rapper Lil' Wayne.

You'd really have to be some kind of stupid or really high to pull something like this. Wait for it....wait for it.

The police said in the report that Kruse might have been under the influence of an unknown substance.

It would amaze you how stupid some people can really be. I have read in the past of people phoning the emergency services to try and get them to help the person put up decorations [during the Xmas season] and others calling because they have problems with their state benefits and other people calling just to wish those at the other end of the line a happy new year and things like that. And also just to have a chat with the operator on the other end. There are lots more things I've read but that's about all I can remember at the moment. Anyone that wastes time on the 999 [or 911] line should be prosecuted as it is there for people with real problems and nothing else.
