Will E Worm

Conspiracy...
God & insanity. A perfect couple!!

God is not the author of confusion. :hatsoff:

But, unbelievers twist scripture to make it look that way.

What would you do if it was you? Better yet, what if he was in your house (that's a better comparison)? If someone entered my house and shot at me, I'm gonna empty the clip. Just happened it was this mans place of work. Not much different though, really. The young man was not defenseless; he chose to brandish a weapon, fire it at an innocent working man, and may or may not have still been a threat. I believe the article said the other perp who got away and two other cohorts are all charged with 1st degree murder as well. Only fitting. :2 cents:

Yes but police should be avoided at all costs. I live close to woods. If the situation would have happened at my house I would have killed him and buried him. Or done something else, then patched my walls. If it happened on camera, in a store, I wouldn't just kill someone like that. The man could have just waited for him to bleed to death before calling anyone. That would have been the smartest thing. If his own wounds wern't serious I mean.

So, are we talking about science now? ;)

You were lied to about God.

No, we're not. We're talking about a personal definition of what God embodies from my perspective....not yours or some organized religion. The God I know thinks that's just fine.

Trading posts with you is pointless since you refuse to discuss ideas or to have an open exchange of thoughts. Someone disagrees with you and you instinctively spit out fundamental rhetoric and make asinine and absolute statements like the one above as if you were an automaton.

Still, it's fun to pull your chain once in a while just to make sure you haven't developed the ability to consider alternative viewpoints. So far, you haven't.

Should we pray for him?

I don't live that far out. :D I'm just saying I live close to the woods. And if I were just home alone, and killed some people trying to rob me, there is no way I'd call the cops. Or anywhere. If I shoot some people I'm not hanging around after it happens. But this is a different situation. This was at this guys job. And really he should have known better. The world is better off without this kid, but he wasn't smart in doing that.

Why is the world better off? Do you know exactly what the future would have had in store for him?!?

Yes, I bribed and cheated to get this far
I quoted you...how could I not know you stated it?? The point of my post was to show you the glaring flaw in your point...which I think was more guns equal less crime. There is no corollary to that notion while there is a direct, obvious correlation to a place full of law abiding citizens having less crime.

I think you are confusing me with blood shot scott, who was the guy arguing more guns/ less crime. I said pretty much the exact same thing that you just did.:dunno:

Er, I do. . .then again, I'm English.:coolman:

Why didn't you say something earlier!?

I was? God wouldn't tell someone to buy a sword to defend themselves against someone with a gun. That's insanity.

What if he was a ninja?

Is the thread getting hijacked? The discussion has turned to something other than the initial post. Is it time to close this?

I could swear I saw someone post a thread on this here, but I can't find, so here goes: http://news.aol.com/article/pharmac...news.aol.com/article/pharmacy-shooting/501310

The man is a PATRIOT! :hatsoff: The prosecutor is a disgrace and should be ashamed. He should resign immediatly.

I have to disagree with you. I saw not only the video in question, but the interview on O'Reilly......here's how I see it.

I obviously do not side with the perps.....absolutely not......but you can see the guy take down the one, the other kid runs, this guy chases him out of the store and continues to fire....if you watch closely, you can see that it is a fairly heavy amount of traffic occurring outside....he endangered the public with shots fired at the kid who was running away.

He then comes back into the store....disappears for a second, goes back to the downed moron......and pumps FIVE shots into him. The entire scenario took 47 seconds......I don't agree with the "adrenaline" argument....this guy had more than enough time to realize what he was going to do.

He shot him point fucking blank, as he laid on the floor, at this point helpless, and he executed him.

To shoot at them in self-defense is perfectly fine, damn near admirable in my opinion.....to "finish" him off is not, and I believe that he should be charged. Perhaps first degree murder is too harsh of a charge, but he should be held accountable for executing that kid.

Career criminal would have likely been the career choice of this fine young man. :D

That's very interesting but I'd be way more impressed with your prognosticating prowess if you can tell me what this weeks winning Texas lotto numbers are. :D

First degree murder is way too harsh. Manslaughter and no more than a year in prison would be sufficient. :2 cents:

It was voluntary manslaughter and imperfect self-defense (when someone who kills another believes they are acting in self-defense but that belief is not reasonable under the circumstances).

The problem for him if he is correctly convicted is intent. You don't get a year when you intend to kill someone. Sentencing guidelines are probably going to call for 3-10 years.
