Matchmaking in Heaven or A Mail-Order Disaster?

Maybe it's Cold War nostalgia mixed with hormones, maybe it's "exotic foreign women," or maybe it is the fact that, as I look at the quality of women here, I can't picture myself with any of them long-term. Regardless of the multitude of reasons, I find myself starting to seriously consider an online matchmaking agency, from the letter-oriented websites, like Elenasmodels.com, to the more real-time instant messaging sites, like Russianeuro.com. Yes, I know that there is an inherent risk involved (i.e. is the girl trying to scam me, how can I be sure that she is really who she says she is, is this site just taking advantage of people, etc), but with the advent of watchdog groups, such as agencyscams.com and russian-scam.org, doesn't this make it safer, or at least reduce the risk of fraud? What do you guys think, or maybe you can advise me from some of your experiences? I would gladly appreciate any legitimate thoughts, ideas, suggestions, or recommendations regarding this topic. :hatsoff:

Dude if I could mail order a chick like Smilla aka Vika hell yeah I would hook that shit up.
Personally I would scout out in person in whatever perspective country and get all the paperwork setup right.

Stay away from women here in the states. I wouldn't wish them on anyone but the Chinese.

I agree with you totally, but scouting can take some time, more time than even an extended trip...but you are definitely right.

Also, you definitely get rep for speaking the truth about the majority of American women and their- what would be a politically correct phrase- "sense of entitlement." :glugglug:

Well me being a yank I can attest to this first hand. I have traveled to about 11 different countries thus far and let me tell you its obvious as hell after doing that!

Even my friends who married women from other countries wive's say American women expect too much! Mind you these are very well educated women lacking nothing in the looks department.

Perhaps when you want to set out on the adventure I can be your wing man in your international hunt that I am likewise on. On this continent I have found the majority of Canadian women to be very pleasant and surprisingly not as defective as the "natives."

Among other things I am a member of some cultural community type websites. One that promotes learning new languages, regions, and the like. I would think indirectly networking through these means would be fare more effective in finding a potential candidate vs. finding someone in search of an escape route. On top of that you might learn some of the culturally accepted "norms" so as to make a good impression.

My areas of interest thus far are Germany, Ireland, Spain, Canada, and perhaps Russia. Areas where women of like age will likely be educated and not corrupted.

what do you think those women are really after? why are they on international matchmaking sites rather than looking for partners at home? do you think they're looking for love or a free ticket into the US? you probably already know the answer
