it's coming out or is out ,on DVD soon. has anyone seen this movie.
i remember playing the game...the killing stuff and shooting stuff was cool for a bit but the story of his family and his pain was fucked up.
did they write a whole new story or go pretty much close to the game?
i wanna see it but if it's bad i could wait for HBO,Starz,or Encore to show it.

Was there the whole demons and shit in the game? Max Payne could have been a great movie, the source was pretty damn good.

I saw the movie at the theater without ever playing the video game and I was lost several times in the movie. I chucked it up to being one of those movies for "the fans." I really wanted to get into the movie at several points, but it felt like it never got there.

I haven't seen the movie but it doesn't look like they followed the game in any way at all, unless all the supernatural stuff they show in ads is a dream sequence. It's a shame if it sucks because it definitely had potential, I mean, it's about a washed up cop who's lost everything who just goes and shoots everybody one night, sounds like a winner to me!

The game was pretty good, I liked playing it. I didn't see the movie yet, but somehow I think I'm going to be disappointed when I finally watch this flick.

Seems to be a forgettable movie though... I don't know it or the game, but am interested in such characters and stories, so I give this a bump!
