Mexican troops cross into the United States at Bridge Two


A convoy of three military trucks loaded with Mexican soldiers crosses the border at Bridge Number Two clearly violating international law.

It happens as Customs and Border Protection inspectors try to figure out what to do.

A CBP spokesperson says they got on the phone with Mexican authorities after being alerted that the military trucks were heading their direction loaded down with soldiers and weapons.


Mexican leaders say the soldiers, who had just been deployed to Nuevo Laredo, didn't know the area, got lost and then made their way through Bridge Two.

It's important to note that CBP did not tell us about the potentially serious situation. It came from another law enforcement agency.

Mexico takes every opportunity to shit on US sovereignty just as much as they accuse us. However, the reason that uniformed Mexican soldiers weren't challenged is that its SOP for the USBP. They train with us all the time and its not unusual for them to be on US soil.

About shooting at rock throwers, that also is SOP. Several USBP Agents have been killed or injured by grapefruit sized rocks and in the continuum of force a person doesn't need to distinguish what an aggressor might be throwing, just that it poses a danger. Several BP vehicles have been retrofitted with hurricane fencing over the windows to help reduce injuries to the Agents. Personally, I'd feel a lot better if they started issuing flame throwers, rocker launchers and mini guns to the Border Patrol. That'll teach the fuckers.

I believe our border policies should be reciprocal with any other country, not just Mexico. You think our policies suck now? Wait until our policy reflects those of Mexico. You want to own property in the US? Tough shit, you're not a citizen. We should start sending our homeless and disenfranchised across the border illegally with maps and brochureson how to survive in Mexico the same way they do to us.

A lot of people decry our policy as racist but they haven't taken the time to actually look at the situation objectively. We enforce the laws of our country without regard for race, gender or country of origin (granted, if you're coming from Colombia, Mexico, Brazil or the Middle East, you're going to face a lot more scrutiny than if you're from Canada or the UK but that's beside the point.).
