my 1990 Firebird has 170,163.4 miles on her and she's still going strong.

i got a 97 benz that has 180,000 and still working good. They dont make cars like they used to.

I just bought a 01/'Y' Rover - just ticked over 60k


My previous car, a 94/'M' Rover, has just ticked over 85k

I only average about 4/5k a year, my 'M' Rover had covered just 26k in SIX years

I'm at about 120k. Bought it at 85k, mint. The only problem I have had with it has been the starter, which I just installed myself a couple months ago. Chevy's are the best, if you take care of them. :thumbsup:

The single most important thing besides regular lubrication maintenance is to never ever overheat them. Flush the cooling system every 2 - 3 years making sure to add the appropriate ratio of coolant / water. Also - add a fresh air filter every 15,000 miles for regular road use & more often for combo on road / off road use.
