I was actually living in Panama during Just Cause, in Albrook if you remember where that was. That was crazy, I don't know why we didn't leave, haha.

anyways I'm going to OTS in October and the wait is killing me.

Congrats on OTS....I think Torrijos-Carter had Albrook closing soon thereafter anyway. But yeah, it was "crazy" though.

Vietnam era - i received my draft notice. (How many here remember the draft - or even know that the US had one?) I went in for my pre-induction physical, then went to the Air Force recruiter and joined up. Fortunately, I didn't go to Vietnam - spent 3 years in Germany instead. Woohoo!

I love what the military does for us back here in the states.

I always worry when my brothers are in Afghanistan and Iraq though.

I just hate when people hate on the military like the crazy Iowa baptists. They need to be deported or executed. No one should ever have to go through with burying their child with them around.
