Mom Challenges Kids To Drinking Contest...

It sounds like a scene from Animal House: A vodka-drinking contest, with $10 for whoever can down a shot first.

But police say, that's what happened at a Kansas City birthday party. Christine Downs, 43, now faces child endangerment charges, for providing beer and liquor to 13- and 14-year-olds at her daughter's birthday party. Another woman also faces charges. Police say the women made the kids promise not to tell their parents.

Two girls ended up in the hospital.

I'm at a loss for words...
I mean, this isn't something like letting the kid eat some pudding with liquor in it like "Herrencreme" (i think it's "Gentlemen's custard" in English, this kind of vanilla pudding with folded-in whipped cream, baking chocolate and rum) at a wedding, which is already "borderline". But it seems they just handed out booze and even played drinking games with the kids....it's the middle ages all over again.

Although who want's to have a drinking contest with their mother involved. But, as they are only 13 year old's I suppose we can let them off. Next time, 4 truckers and 3 crab's infested strippers are perfect competition. Whoever wins gets a free complimentary dance from either a girl or a trucker depending on the luck you had
