... because it is bad for wine production. As weather gets hotter and hotter, this makes the wine grapes gather more and more sugar, resulting in more alcohol per litre. Which will eventually turn vines into liqeur.

But this is not the worst of the story. Across the channel, the brits are preparing for making their own wines now, quel dommage :surprise:

Only the elites have the money to do that here.
Even if I had the time, I, like the majority of my countrymen, am to busy working so I can fund government corruption with my taxes.
