You man an A1? Like was issued in the early 1960s? or a Modern day Rifle (M4) that would now be in the hands of Service Men?
The problems that plagued the early M1A1's was the revision of the spec that removed the requirement for chrome lined barrels and including
Cleaning Kits the moden AR in all it's incarnations is far more reliable than that Russian piece of shit. Even if for just the very important reason that it can fire a 5.56 round twice as far accuratly than that Kalashnikov can spit a 7.62x39. If our guys wanna be able to use the cheap Russian ammo fine all they have to do is change out thier upper and voila they can drill a haji between the eyes from farther away than the fucker can see it comming from.
Most of our Advanced Marksmen and Snipers are carrying M14's, yes it is still in service and it's still kicking ass in American hands. That is something that the Wiki page had wrong the last time I looked M14 has never gone out of service.
The only time you will see one of our Service Men with a Kalashnikov in his hand is when he is taking it off a dead Taliban, probably to collect the round that is in the chamber
