Mortal Kombat vs the DC Universe

I've only played the multiplayer once so far (too busy playing the multiplayer on Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix) but last I checked I didn't experience any lag and I was able to check my win/loss record which is 3/2. At the end of each fight it offers both competitors to fight again or to leave. Now in SSFIITHDR, I've have experienced some lag and quite a few people quit on me but I still got the win and they get a drop on the leaderboards.

XBOX 360 but it would be the same with either one.

Most of the posts that I've read in other forums from people who don't like the concept of this game seem to love Marvel vs Capcom.

I think it's because of the Mortal Kombat part. The idea of DC superheroes, who tend to be more noble then Marvel, fighting characters from a game that is known it's bloody content... It is a lot stranger then Marvel and Capcom. When people think of this, they must think that Superman is ripping guys in two - it just doesn't fit. Once they play it, I'm sure they would change their minds...

By the way, Midway has been sold, don't know too much of the details, but hopefully it won't mess with the MK franchise. This game sold pretty well, but Midway's other non-MK related titles have not hence the sale.....

I like all the characters but these are the ones I tend to remember the moves for:
Mortal Kombat
Sub-Zero, Liu Kang, and Sonya Blade
DC Universe
Captain Marvel, Green Lantern, and Batman

Is Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe available for PS2? I've seen it on every system except that one.

Unfortunately no it's not available on PS2.

I'd love if they did a rockband type thing where every couple of weeks they would have an MK and DC character for download. I hope they make reptile and Killer Croc and maybe Motaro and Scarecrow.

I don't know when the DLC's gonna come, because of Midway's financial problems, it's probably the least thing on their minds right now.

Their financial problems is the reason they should release the DLC's as soon as possible. They need all the money they can get and they should do it while the game is still fresh in everybody's mind.

For DLC they need: Reptile, Melina, and some cool DC guys like Solomon Grundy, Dr. Fate, Green Arrow, Martian manhunter, Killer Croc, Bizzaro, and/ or Mr. Freeze.
