Jaws, I love to watch it every Summer and then go skinny dipping at Crystal Lake after having sex with a voluptous co ed and sharing a doobie with her.
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. It's fucking sad and one of the only movies where I feel what the main character is feeling. How can you let go of all the good memories you've had with someone? That sucks, man
the untouchables is at the top of my list..because every single person that was in this movie fit like a glovE...best put together cast ever..tmo...then came tombstone..same as above...along with quick and the dead umm sharon stone..i think she could play the part of anything..she almost has..my favorite female moviestar
My fav movie is "Night Moves". Gene Hackman plays private eye Harry Moseby. Moseby is on a missing persons case somewhere in the Florida Keys but as he arrives things get more darker and complex for the lost private eye. Susan Clark, Janet Ward, Jennifer Warren and a very young Melanie Griffith is the sexy gals.
Re: Movies you really love and why?<<where does it say porn movies???i bet a lot of you people on here that think your sooooooo smart..are a lot more idle in real life...you gotta love the keyboard cowards
When I caught this me and my old gf were jumping from movie to movie for free and when we did this in the past we usually would get some really shitty films. When I got to see this it just seemed really cool and different the way it was(being in a phone booth for the duration of the film) and it had me on the edge of my seat wondering how he was going to get out alive.
To me it is a work of art.
It first shows what several people/groups of people are doing late at night in NYC.
Most are angry people, but they all have problems of some sort.
Then while on a train they are accosted by 2 crazy punks who won't let them off.
One by one they zone in on each person or group and simply destroy them emotionally.
Together the passengers could destroy these punks but they don't, they just sit around and do nothing until its their turn.
Excellent acting , great actors, all around and great study on society in the city.
1. The Magnificent Seven - Yul Brynner, Steve McQueen, James Coburn, Charles Bronson, Robert Vaughn, Brad Dexter, Horst Buchholz and Eli Wallach. Music by Elmer Bernstein.
2. The Good, The Bad and the Ugly - Clint Eastwood, Lee Van Cleef, and Eli Wallach. Music by Ennio Morricone.
Old Boy. My favourite movie.
Great script, great acting, geat soundtrack, great characters... all is great
Also it was the first korean movie I ever saw, first of many.
Blazing Saddles-For Mel Brooks to make this movie in the early seventies while nerves were still raw from the sixties would make this movie a classic. Question was would it be in a good or bad way. It also helped to have Richard Pryor as one of the writers.
