Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. It's fucking sad and one of the only movies where I feel what the main character is feeling. How can you let go of all the good memories you've had with someone? That sucks, man :(

Agree! I love that movie so much.

Saving Private Ryan (Perfect union of pride and heartache for the men who fought WWII. Capt. Miller's final words to Pvt. Ryan "Earn this." and then the old Ryan asking his wife if he's been a good man, make me so proud and wrench my heart at the same time.)

The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (Utterly magnificent for many, many reasons. The charge of the Rohirrim during the battle of Minas Tirith, and at the end when the hobbits start to bow to the new King Aragon who tells them: "My friends! You bow to NO ONE" makes me bawl my eyes out. I love it.)

Die Hard ("Yippee ki yay, motherfucker!")

Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (#1 Trek movie, followed by J.J. Abram's effort.)

Star Wars: Episode I (The lightsaber duel at the end with Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi against Darth Maul makes my mouth go dry everytime I watch it. Absolutely brilliant. I've watched that that more times than I can count.)

Blair Witch Project (The only horror movie that scared the piss out of me in a movie theater.)

Pulp Fiction ("If I'm curt with you it's because time is a factor. I think fast, I talk fast and I need you guys to act fast if you wanna get out of this. So, pretty please ... with sugar on top. Clean the fucking car.")

Out of my mind. Back in five minutes.
Blade Runner, simply a magic sci-fi masterpiece. It is not only the story or the actors. It's about the setting and everything around that makes it almost perfect 99%

Big trouble in little china because for some reason it's entertainment plus

Aliens because you get to see sigourney weaver in her underwear

Lost in translation because you get to see scarlett johanson in her underwear

Blade Runner because you get to see a replicant's tits

Frantic because it's one of Polanski's best

Manufacturing Consent because it smells nice

Anything by Woody Allen.

Fucking Åmål (which was released in the US under the horrible title "Show Me Love"), because it´s by far the best "high school" movie ever made (well, we don´t actually have high schools in Sweden, but the people in the movie are the same age as high school kids).

As I see that Blade Runner (director's cut, of course) has already been mentioned, I have nothing to add really. I must have seen it over 30 times and it is still just as great as the first time I saw it. I have never been inclined to re-watch any other movie so many times, not even close. Among other things, it implements the "show, don't tell" rule absolutely perfectly.
