People only compare Dirk to Bird because they're both white. Dirk isn't even close to the all around player Bird was. Bird did everything good. 24ppg. 10rg. 6apg. 2spg. He also played defense. Well.

Dirk is a legendary player, but he's not even Bird lite.

Dirk shooting skills remind me of Bird, and yeah, he also reminds me of him because he is also white - and he puts up monster PPG - like Bird.

they played a totally different game. i mean, its nice to be compared to a great like him but bird was more of a 3 point shooter, at least from what i remember.

is the best player in these playoffs, won MVP, and is a first-ballot HOFer... you'd probably try to have me committed. Dirk is basketball wonder and is one of a few players ever whose skill cannot be properly taught.

Well, if I were 6'-10" I'd be in the NBA right now. Fact.

If I were 280lb, 6'-6" I'd be in the NFL right now. Another fact.

I am not aware of his family tree/roots/genetics, but it does not always equate that a person's parents have to have been uber athletic for them to turn out that way.

Total choke job by my Bulls. Rose is not looking good in these late game situations, the lack of consistent scoring is killing Chicago. I am not happy at all.

Miami is just a better team. better players, better overall skill...better everything than the Bulls. these finals are going to be very exciting with Dallas, i expect high scoring games....(of course i realize both teams have to win that 4th game, but i think they both win in 5)

Lebron Flames is the most over-hyped player in the history of the league. Yes, he is good, but the hype has made the bulk of us nauseated everytime we have to see his ugly ass.

Yeah join the club. I think this loss is going to hurt them psychologically. They just don't have enough firepower to counter the Heat.
