What do you guys make of this new aeroplane then?, can they be built too big to fly or is it finally a step in the right direction for the aviation industry after the decline of concorde, i think it's a good thing, the one bad part of it is that you apparently help yourself to food/drink on a bar inside the plane so dont see any horny air hostess'

It's cool if you fly alot as you can get last minute flights aswell but i think it's just an upper class plane at the moment, it can also seat from 500 up to 800 or so people :eek: so maybe about 75% more of those things tunsty

Well, they're saying that since it's built of a stronger, lighter material, it will have lower fuel costs. With its increased capacity, they expect ticket prices to drop quite a bit. Funny though -- they haven't even gotten the thing into the air yet!!! LOL It might be the Titanic of the skies! :eek:

Icebergs can't fly, but ships can be built bigger than ever now and can take a hit with an iceberg. Titanic had flawed construction, silly... We have to see what this Airbus A380 can do. It might be too big for its own good... We don't know yet -- it's never left the ground (at least officially)!!! I hope it's a success!!! Then tix will be cheaper for flights!!!

Actually not that many people fly in those bigger planes, they fly more often in the smaller ones, so Airbus won't make that much money off of that plane.

I would not like to be on the first flight then :eek: it's probably had alot of testing on it already and might have had test flights at a miltary base.

Yes very nice plane and European!

The development program of the A380 costs 10.7 billions of euros and each plane is purchased 200 millions of euros by a company.
139 units are already purchased and the dead point is 250 planes to have a benefit of 1 euro...

And now Airbus is fucking Boeing! :nanner:

When they started out with the 737 jumbo's originally not many people flew on them, then everybody did, which is what i think will happen with the A380.
