I don't live in Cali, so I'm still free to be a jerkoff.
No seriously, this needs to be a national thing. I think a year in jail is way too hefty, but some penalty needs to be enforced nationwide, not just in California.
my ex impersonated me on facebook a few times. logged in, sent messages to the chick I was working out with while we were both at work. needless to say haters only help boost your rep and we had some great dates, some of my best ever actually

Facebook, Myspace, & Twitter are all California companies as well as Yahoo & Google's Gmail accounts. If someone uses any of those, it would probably be considered to be committing a crime in California.

:rofl::rofl::rofl: .... the sound from Canada when the first righteous wheatgrass smoothie sipping Hell-A dumbass tries to charge or pursue anyone up here with that offense .... the  that echoed around the world .....
Not that it's a bad law, in reality. It's just useless. Still, a line has been drawn in the sand, and if we've learnt nothing from the White case in Long Island, we've learnt impersonating people on MySpace sometimes gets someone shot in the face.
