New Laptop ASUS

I'm not 100% sure, but confident that you won't get a quad core in a smaller than 17" housing.
The Q9000 series is coming in 15.4" laptops, along with 1920x1080/1200 (1080p) resolution, GeForce Go 260M and other specs. I've seen them for under $1,500 well loaded.

Just bought a new (cheap) mouse. Alas, not a new computer :weeping:

My single core 1.0 GHZ laptop will still find my porn. This computer is just for gaming currently.

It was between Asus and Asus (alienware). I decided to go with Asus directly. Didn't want to pay for the name alienware just to have Asus parts inside.

Hope there's nothing to embarrassing in my room. Too tired to care anyways.

Thanks to the guys that helped.

Altec Lansing is a very decent speaker-set also

I always thought that too, but the speakers in this particular laptop are really tinny and weak, (yes, even for a laptop), far weaker than the altec lansing speakers in my much older and much cheaper compaq.

^^Ah, thanks for the heads-up. I might just give this Asus model a miss then.

I guess, if sound quality from laptop speakers is important to you then I wouldn't recommend it. Otherwise it's a pretty kickass machine.

^It does seem so otherwise, yes:thumbsup: I am also looking at a Dell Inspiron or a Samsung.
