Gonna play devil's advocate right now.
Ok.
Seem's that if you don't agree with the Supreme's you feel it's unconstitutional.
That's not true and I apologize if my sentiments/posts seem that way.
When I look at any case and refer it to the Constitution, I try to see the Constitution as envisioned by the framers. The Constitution is NOT a "living, breathing document" to me. Not only do I look at and consider the "Articles of Confederation" but also the Federalist (and anti-Federalist) Papers.
In other words - the "Supreme Court" doesn't guide my opinion, natural law and 'The Constitution' does.
How do you feel about other's disagreeing with the Supreme's if it's against what you feel?
This argument is tied to what I just posted above -
and it relates to my fundamental disagreement with "Judicial Review" - ever since "
Marbury V Madison" set that horrible precedent.
To put it simply - the Supreme Court isn't the highest law of the land... the Constitution is. And NO, the "Supreme Court"
isn't the 'final arbiter' of that document.... the 'people' are.
chers,
