Anyone watching any of the new shows on TV like "Better Off Ted", "Castle", "Cupid", "Kings", "In The Motherhood", "Party Down" or "Surviving Suburbia"?
As I'm a huge fan of good TV shows and desperately need replacements for the good shows that ended in the last two years or will end soon, I thought I'll check out some of the new stuff.
I really like "Castle". I am a bit surprised by that myself, because hardly anything about this series is new or "genuine", but it is really well made and sometimes even funny.
I still don't know what to think of "Kings" and "Party Down". I mean, I mainly started watching these shows because of Ian McShane and Lizzy Caplan
yesyes
, but I can't make up my mind. Same thing with "Cupid". Pilot was ok, but the show has to step-up a bit, in my opinion.
"In The Motherhood"....yeah...I think I wasn't really the target audience for that...so I guess it'll bite the dust...
"Better Off Ted" is actually way funnier than I expected. Guess I'll keep watching that. Almost the same goes with "Surviving Suburbia", even though it's not that interesting of a show. Once again great job by Cynthia Stevenson, though.
So, to repeat the question: Anyone watching any of these new shows?
