which is insane given how he was in shootouts before he came to Tampa

I really don't know what is wrong with him . And it's not just in shootouts , he has been a little bit off lately . he has let in some pretty soft goals as of late . I hope he gets back to the level he was during the first 10-12 games of the season because he looked almost invincible .

it seems like Smitty, much like the rest of the Lightning, has gotten in a funk and is trying to recover from the 13 games of Melrose.

Koivu (7th) and Markov (2nd) scored for the Habs. Tanguay for the winner in the shootout.

Not a great game but (finally!) a solid performance by Carey Price. Let's hope the Habs can build some confidence from this SO win :dunno:

If anyone cares Henrik Tallinder (Sabres) will be benched for tonights game against the flyers. He went from a top flight defensemen to absolute shit in 0.8 seconds.

Mindy is doing what he does. I wish he coached the way he played. Ted Nolan was able to have a tough team and get results unlike Cindy who has a seldomly dressed tough-guy (LOL) in Peters and relies on the pussified NHL.

Lucic is not that dumb as a player. Laraque-Thornton is more realistic.

Its not a matter of being *dumb* or not - it's about assuming his acts on the ice. Lucic isnt a middleweight either... If it's not Laraque who will go after him it will be Begin, Kostopoulos or Bouillon which arent in the same league as Lucic regarding weight and size.

Thornton already tasted Laraque medecine as he had injured one of our players (a rookie) in training camp games. And, moreover, he have nothing to do regarding the Komisarek-Lucic incident... He could keep Habs players off Lucic but i think Lucic is man enough to defend himself.

Lucic is the same kind of player as Cam Neely was - he will fight anyone standing on his way.
