I just read this on another board, and thought it was great.
The NFC Championship Game was like the movie Alien vs Predator. Who ever wins, we lose.
Atlanta had no business being in that game. A very weak NFC South gave them a first round bye. Minny played great against Green Bay, but you knew they couldn't do that again. Unless Atlanta got lost on the way to the stadium last week, they had a cake walk into this game. The real Super Bowl is being played right now in Pittsburgh. Those two teams are the best in the league, it's just a shame they had to meet in the Semi's, and not at the big show.

Although the Bills' Super Bowl failures will never be matched, I'd hate to see the Eagles get put into their territory.

Unlike the Lakers, the Yankees or NJ Devils, I'm not sick of the Pats yet and another title for them is OK with me.

Other than the fact that I work with a guy that claims he is from Boston, I like the Pats. They are a great team. But, if I have to listen to the butt munch, I mean fellow co-worker spew out praises for "his" Pats, then all I have to say is GO EAGLES!! LOL.

I really thought that the Falcons would play a lot better... but at least the Pats did kick Pittsburgh butts just like i said... so i'm at least half-happy !

The Eagles better be glad my Panthers were injury-riddled or else the Eagles would've been watching it from home like the last three years. I'll admit that the Eagles played well enough to beat the Falcons, but (sorry to say this) their fantasy ride will end sour in Jacksonville. The Pats had to deal with better teams than Philly did.
The only thing I hope doesn't happen is that Philly doesn't get blown out or anything. Now THAT would be brutal.

I have only looked at the series some in the last 20 years or so , my family said they lost interest after Washington moved in 1971 , so baseball wasn't a big thing in our house . Sometimes my dad would watch the series so I watched it to sometimes (one tv family lol) . I think since I do basicly like the sport I'm going to get on the Washington D.C. bandwagon and be one of the first official fans and watch from beginning this season .

and i know a lot of there player... you'll have a pretty good team this year...

I loved watching baseball games at Olympic Stadium. You never had to worry about a lot of people being in the way, and you could get good seats from scalpers for cheap. Also, Montreal had the capability of playing some good baseball every once in awhile.
