Except that Benjamin Franklin did, both the the English & French king... He only stopped bowing to the English king when he (the king) declared war.

It is a big deal. The king just stood there....he did not bow to Obama. Obama, the pansy, bowed to him. It is a sign of inferiority and weakness....something he should not be projecting.
