And what's this I read that tax breaks were government spending? A tax break IS NOT government spending. All it is is that the people who get a tax break can keep more of THEIR OWN money, which means that the gov. will have to do without that money, which isn't theirs to begin with. It DOES NOT mean that daddy gov. opened up his wallet and took money out and handed it over. I mean, if you ask me for $20, how can you spend it before I send it to you? Or what if you change your mind and decide you don't want it anymore, does that mean that you would consider those $20 that I didn't send you as spending?

I don't know about you libs, but if I had a goose that lays golden eggs (the American private sector) I'd be really nice to it and not strangle it to force to produce more than what it can produce or try to eat it for dinner.

I'm a libertarian, so any Federal program/power not explicitly given to it or tied to an expressly stated power in the US Constitution is illegal IMHO, so that's most of them.

You're incorrect. He never killed any officers. The "police" that came to his home did so by entrapment, which is illegal. Also, they were not in uniforms and they were from another county. They did not have any jurisdiction to make the arrest.

Politicians are the enemy. The people in Washington are supposed to be Statesmen, not politicians or lawyers. They are certainly not supposed to hide behind "District of Columbia."

Yes, he's going to increase taxes. Who can blame him? The government needs money. Don't like it? Go to a different country. See if you can find one with the same quality of life that has lower taxes.

Again, if these 'higher taxes' amount to doing away with the Bush era 3 pct cut on the top 2%....Obama has said this since before he was elected while he was campaigning.

There is no evidence those particular cuts have gone back into the economy and likely have found their way into offshore bank accounts. Heck of a job.

My main point is the economy did just fine when taxes were higher. A increase in taxes will hardly destroy the rich.
