Anyone recall George H.W. Bush's approval ratings being 88 pct in '91 and watching him ride that right into being a one term POTUS?

Obama hasn't had anything but bad news for the first year and a half of his presidency and I'm sure he'd rather his poll numbers be down now..than the year of the next election.

If and when things turn as they cyclically do...so to will his ratings...If you think things will be the way they are for the next 2.5 years..you're probably on something or delusional.

Middle of the roaders are fickle and they will change just as easy as they have now on the strength of positive results.
