taking over and nationalizing the private federal reserve aka absorbing it into the US treasury to be able to print US notes is very socialistic but IMO total free markets will never work because there will always be a group who rises up and takes control and will eventually proceed to rape the people of all their wealth which is what the banks are doing right now, the answer lies somewhere in the middle of Austrian and Keynesian economic school of thought because there is just no way that every single worker in this country will understand the banking system and those who do not understand it will get cheated while those who do understand it will prosper hence we need, dare I say, honest elected officials at the US treasury who will issue money for the benefit of the people as opposed for the benefit of the banks and the corporations that have grown up around them, and if nationalizing aka taking over the private federal reserve makes me a socialist then I guess I am a socialist

The conservatives say that they want tax relief, their view the free healt care is a bad thing and they are in favor of low-wage jobs which means that they want a society based on inequality and in my view it is unpatriotic thing.

I'm not a believer in obama care, nor do I think people should ride the welfare train forever...but I would just as soon see them fund PBS TV for another couple of years, before watching them piss away money on sending another "rover" to some planet. Social programs that help to an extent, but not support for ever. A difficult balancing act, but one that needs to be worked on,, in my opinion. I'm tired of paying for slackards, and most Americans are....but I would gladly give to a man that's put in his whole life, and is destitute because of what has happened to the economy...from many politicians, regardless of party affiliation. Social programs don't always turn into socialism...but lately it seems like that's the push they're going for, and Americans have the right to be weary, and skeptical of our leaders. They've betrayed us, and are continuing to make no effort to earn the trust we, as tax payers deserve.

its at least 45 million americans on some form of government assistance at the present (this does not include all the employees of federal, state and local government agencies), this number will probably climb as the years go on, though I sincerely hope not, you see the bail out of 2008 had nothing to do with creating a solid, steady growing economy, it was all about preventing a collapse and keeping the game going which is all that is going on right now unfortunately

well 80% of Americans are 1 paycheck away from financial failure. the working poor are our majority now. you cannot raise a family on $50k a year now. if you can then you are feeding them shit food and living in an area that subjects them to crime and temptations.

Most of Americans are NOT slackards. Most of America works. Our unemployment rate is less than 10% so saying that they are not putting in isn't accurate. But I do think that Americans feel far too entitled just for being Americans. That has become the state of mind of the average American. You have people out there telling you that anything is possible if you want it bad enough. Bullshit! Not everyone has the savvy or the smarts to be a millionaire. Some people are mentally equipped to do labor jobs and that's great, because we need them! We have 3 million jobs that are unfilled because people are not trained to do them. They are good paying jobs but people think it's beneath them to do heating and air conditioning work, or be a plumber or a mechanic. They have been fed this bullshit by the media and the politicians that they can be whatever they want and they shouldn't settle.

Someone needs to take the balls and say you can't be what you want. Some of you will be workers and thats a good thing. You can pay your bills and raise a family and enjoy your life. It isnt meant for everyone to be rich. Not everyone has parents with money to loan you to start a business as that fucking idiot Romney said "Hey start your own business. If you don't have the money people should just borrow the start up capital from their parents" not everyone had his good fortune to be handed a few hundred million dollars.

I think the unemployment rate is actually closer to the 15 -20 percent range at present and you can put much of the blame of 50k a year not being enough to feed the entire family on the actions of the private federal reserve and their continued dollar devaluation throughout the years, and yes there are many trade jobs that have gone unfilled, I always tell young people that learning a trade is the way to go as opposed to spending 100k on a degree in worthlessness, and as far as mittens romney is concerned, I'm still trying to forget about him
