Been watching "Oliver Stone's Untold History Of The United States". It's pretty damn good American history. I don't understand all although Stone talks a lot about America's Empire, Henry Wallace, FDR, JFK, The Soviets, Stalin, Khrushchev, Castro, Carter, Gorbachev, Reagan, W., Obama, and the America of tomorrow. Definitely worth checking out.

I'm (mildly) surprised that people still want to think of climate change as a hoax, especially in light of what just happened in the Philippines. That said, what anything that Obama might accomplish on that issue will be too little, too late.

Hurricane Camille was almost as bad and it occurred in 1969. As someone that lives on the east coast, I can attest to one of the quietest hurricane seasons in recent memory. Whether it's real or not, I don't think this recent storm is further proof of it.

That's the thing. A lack of severe storms is attributed to global warm ... err .. climate change as well as an increase in frequency or severity. The conclusion has already been reached.
