You're not going to remove Oprah from power. She's the President of the World - at least to all of the women. She's going to have an enormous amount of funds to combat this lawsuit. She'll settle out of court for a couple of hundred million dollars at the most. That's couch cushion change to her.

she sold out to maintaining a lifestyle we can barely afford the magazines to read about it in. She didn't sell-out to white America, she sold out to mega-rich. It's all image and illusion. The women love the idea of "Oprah" without really knowing Oprah. Same goes for most of the icons today. Look at Hugh Grant, that guy cheated on his gorlfriend with a hooker and women still are snapping their pelvises trying to wrap their legs around the movie-screen image of him.

Really, Will? I make a post about her being the President of the World, but the part you take seriously is the "at least to women" part. African-Americans constitute roughly 14% of the American population. So judging by that, I suppose your 90% female audience is just about in line. I couldn't care less about Oprah. If people want to vilify her for this, so be it. It makes no difference to me.

The numbers may be right, I for one do not believe the 650 million pieces have gotten sold. Let's assume it is.
If the one poem is, say, a hundreth of the book, and she made 650 x 20 $, that would make a total sale value of 13.000 million bucks.
But he can't get the sale value, only the net gain from that number. Let's say, that is 10 %. Now there is the 1.3 trillion.
But we have to make the hundreth part division due to his very small part in the book, so:
1.3 trillion / 100 = 13 billion.
