Paint Specks on LCD Screen

howie789

I know how to use the search button!
My landlord forgot to cover my LCD monitor while painting - and there are small specks on them. How can you remove them safely?

Tell your landlord he owes you 150.00 or a new monitor

Best bet ...get you advice from professionals on this and if it costs more than a nominal amount, recoup your costs from the landlord.

The Rules, of course I have read them!
Damn dude, 150 will buy you a monitor...can't say it'll last long... A ViewSonic/Samsung/LG/NEC monitor (decent size ~23") will run you easly 200-300...!!!

You should attempt to use the LCD/Plasma screen solution. 1st lay your monitor flat, 2nd give that bad 'gal' a good amount, 3rd wait for 1 min (or there abouts), wipe with a circular motion from outside-to-inside. And last of all...if any of these paint flecks are towards the edges...then screw this plan...and get ya mu-la from the landlord...

Really? My cousin has had a Westinghouse he bought for 120 like 2 or 3 years ago that he still uses. Most of the time they are outdated in 2 years anyway so why spend 300?

OP...see if there is some way you can get the shit off without ruining the damn thing.

I'd be willing to bet the solution to that (if one exists) is allot less expensive than shopping for a new one (just because of some fucking paint speckles...there is probably ten times more splooge secreted over the thing...:1orglaugh)

But if you must buy a new monitor...go back to the place you bought the one you have now from.
