Palin calls for Obama's impeachment, likens America to a "battered wife"

Be careful what you wish for, it might come true!
Good grief........facepalm: :facepalm: :facepalm:

Just when you think (hope) you've heard the last from her....

Conservatives, do yourselves a HUGE favor and find some way, whatever it takes, to completely dissociate yourselves from this walking, talking carnival act.

Every time this ignorant, egomaniacal professional victim opens her yap she alienates scores of potential republican voters.

The Seattle Post Intelligencer is a left-wing rag and their opinion is shit.

Speaking of which, I disagree with her; President Obama should not be impeached. He needs to serve out his term and pass more executive legislation.

And Boehner's lawsuit is pointless.

The Seattle Post Intelligencer is a left-wing rag and their opinion is shit.

I didn't post it to promote their opinion. I just grabbed the first link (of thousands on both sides of the political fence) that turned up in a google search for this story.

Here's her "going rogue" :facepalm: video follow up with Hannity on Fox
http://nation.foxnews.com/2014/07/0...ency-sarah-palin-urges-congress-impeach-obama

Apparently there is some hope: she's considering leaving the Republican Party. Poor Sarah, always the victim, in one way or another :violin:
But so long as she remains a conservative mouthpiece she's going to continue to cripple the cause.

Nevermind, I was just mirroring another post.

She should follow her convictions and leave the GOP. Her calling for impeachment is her standing on principle but it's not going to happen and it definitely wouldn't be bipartisan even though democrats are beginning to turn on/distance themselves from Obama. So why do it? Like Buchanan said - the shit burger is made, let America take a good couple of bites and remember the taste (paraphrasing of course).

The Washington Times is a tabloid, The Seattle Post Intelligencer isn't. I'm sure you were just as opposed to other presidents use of executive orders as you are to the current administrations, right. Boehner is using this lawsuit to setup impeachment proceedings, I doubt if he's got the balls to actually pull the trigger on impeachment proceedings, but he might, who knows, sanity isn't his strong suit. And if you want to continue to debate the worst president in since WWII, indeed, continue in that thread.

The best way to deal with all what Sarah Palin says is to just ignore her.

Regarding the lawsuit, it'll take so long that Obama will be out of the White House before they get anything remotely resembling an impeachable offense. Teh only reason they are going to a lawsuit is because they know impeaching Obama is a losing proposition.

@ChrisFreemanX
Candidate Obama was opposed to it.

Yes, let's impeach him now, he's the first president to do something contrary to what he campaigned on.

That's a good point and it has the side benefit of giving the republicans red meat to throw to their base for the mid-terms.

Of course he promised more, so did McCain and Romney and every other winning and losing candidate in every election since ever. I'm happy that he's been able to maintain what Bush accomplished, along with moderate improvement in some areas. I'll take the real Obama and his actual accomplishments over the far left fantasy or the right-wing delusion.

I actually admire President Obama in that he is a true believer. I get the enthusiasm from his base. If he was on the diametric end of the political spectrum I'd be crazy about him too. Dare I say, he is to the left what Ronald Reagan was to the right, except we still think Ronald Reagan was awesome.

@ChrisFreemanX
Ronald Reagan was absolutely one of the worst presidents in United States history, his policies are the root cause of a lot of what's wrong with this country today, from deficit spending and supporting terrorist regimes, to raising the debt ceiling 18 times and tripling the national debt, you have to have a total ignorance of Reagan policy to venerate the man. Reagan the myth is still quite popular among conservatives, but his actual policies would have him cast a liberal by current GOP/Tea Party standards, the only thing they would agree with him on are social conservative issues, big shock, but if you want to measure a politician by their commitment to religion, Jimmy Carter should be your guy.

Certainly he was better than Jimmy Carter right?

Reagan was for reducing the growth of government spending, lowering income tax (the top marginal tax rate went from 70% to the 20's) and capital gains tax and reducing government regulation. Yeah, total liberal.

He did increase national defense spending because we were at the height of the cold war. That worked out for us.

And it's JFK who would be a republican today.

Re: Palin calls for Obama's impeachment, likens America to a "battered wife"

If the GOP was smart, they'd pay Palin to never speak in public again. $1000 cash or a $2500 Macy's gift card for every time she passes up an opportunity to wrap her lips around a microphone. What she needs to do is focus on gettin' her youngins some uh them thar free Obamacare birth control pills, so she doesn't have to raise any more meth head grandbabies.

As soon as (thinking) people begin to develop an inclination to vote for a Republican, there comes Silly Sarah, yammering about things which she knows nothing about, and mucks it up for them.

The Carter administration didn't add over $2 trillion to the national debt, but Reagan's did, so you tell me, was Reagan a better president?

What good does lowering income tax and capital gains tax do if the people who benefit from it don't turn around and reinvest? And they don't turn around and reinvest. Reducing regulation isn't a "conservative" position, liberals are all for eliminating plenty of government regulations, it's the particular regulation in any given question that's the point of contention so no, that's not an issue conservatives can claim as theirs.

Increasing defense spending helped stimulate the economy out of the stagnate state it had settled into during the 70's, if that spending had been matched with increases in revenue instead of being a double windfall for the wealthiest Americans it might have actually had some long term benefit, unfortunately it merely set precedent and a blueprint for George W. Bush 20 years later, and that's why we've got the staggering national debt that idiots blame on Obama.
