PanterA and Slayer are different bands. Slayer is more about Religion. But in the end, DIME (R.I.P. brother...), Jeff and Kerry are one of the best guitar shredders out there!
Man, I just love Reign in Blood and The Great Southern Trendkill... Well, I love all their Albums, like Cowboys from Hell and Seasons in the Abyss. Just perfect.
As far as the vocals are concerned, yeah, Phil is a waaay better vocalist, but in when speaking about Thrash metal, Tom isn't so bad.
It's good to see Dave back on the drums, Paul Bostaph was good on some albums, but Dave is the Shit.

I think they are both highly overrated. I picked neither. They both have generic ass riffs that gets so redundant. King you would think would learn how to change his solos up a bit over the years but I guess he is content with his default ass riffs. Dimebag was ok if you loved thw whole southern rock metal thing but its not for me. I prefer complex riffs from the likes of Corpse,Behemoth,Hate Eternal etc.
