I really cannot stand the medias fascinations with celeberties. It's people that pick up those god forsaken gossip magazines that keep the paparazzi and other vultures going and force feeding the american public every detail of the lives of celebs.

I do not know what the facsination with Paris Hilton is. When she turned 18 and was going to clubs and appearing on the scene I thought, who the hell is that? She has nothing to contribute to society and should not be the center of the medias attention. Of course she is starting to lose some of her appeal and probably will not be in the spotlight much longer, just for being Paris Hilton the socialite.
IMO Nikki is much better looking and has the ball rolling in her life. She is attending NYU in hopes of breaking into fashion, and that is wonderful because at least she is doing something productive with her time.
