Pattycake’s no different from anyone else in this regard. I think though the washed out quality of some of these pics is due to just plain old bad lighting. They have an overexposed look that really flattens out any detail. By design perhaps -- no one knows, but there will always be a little photoshop refinement going on, it’s standard practice these days.
