Does the amount of rep you can distribute vary by user? I determined I can give out 10 reps in any 24-hour period and must spread 25 around before re-repping. I usually find myself distributing rep just so I can rep those who rep me. So many good posts, so little ability to rep.

I'm constantly bumping up against this with nearly everyone mentioned here, and many of the mentioners. If I'm particularly driven-to-distraction by a post I can't rep, then shit, I sometimes clutter up the thread giving it a shout - it just seems they got my rep condom on when I come through the door, most days. I know there's several, but the rarest opportunity (enough to memorize the username) I have to get a rep in is to Rane1071, luis1972, and 2012i. Probably due to their gif content.
