Personal Ghost Stories

Since it's October, I was wondering if anyone has any personal ghost stories?
Not just the "Urban Legends" or Campfire Stories, but if you ever experienced the unexplained, or what you think/know was a ghost.

For me I was once in an apartment where I believe I had a ghost because one day I was at my computer desk, and a container of pens, pencils and high lighters lifted off the edge for not even a split second, but it honestly levitated there, and then fell to the floor. There weren't enough pens to make everything snug so it wouldn't move, but nothing fell out of the container. My hair stood up on the back of my neck, and I could sense something was in the room. I said out loud, "OK, I can't see you, but I can feel that you're here.."
There were nights that I would keep myself from looking in the mirror because I was afraid of what was waiting on the other side. Since then, our apartment got flooded, and we had to move to another apartment. Every once in a while other people move into our old apartment, but they don't stay long. I wonder if they have experienced the same thing I have?

This happened to my brother a couple of years back.

My brother was on the side of the road hitch hiking on a very dark and stormy night. The night was cold and wet and no cars went by.

The storm was so strong, he could hardly see a few feet ahead of him. Eventually, he saw a car coming towards him very slowly and it stopped right by him. My brother, without thinking about it, got in the car, closed the door, and only then realised that there was nobody behind the wheel!

The car started moving again, very slowly. My brother looked at the road and saw a curve coming his way. He was terrified. Just before the car hit the curve, a mysterious hand appeared through the open drivers window and turned the wheel.

My brother, paralyzed in terror, watched how the hand appeared each time the car approached a curve. Gathering his strength, he finally jumped out of the car and ran the rest of the way home.

The next day, my brother was walking past a garage and he sees the strange car parked up in the forecourt.

Two guys were standing next to it and one pointed to my brother and said to the other, "Hey Tom. That's the guy that got in the car last night while we were pushing it!"

Yeah, I grew up in a big old house right on the jersey coast.From the outside it was very similar to the house from THe amityville horror and was even cosidered being used for the movie.It had stained glass windows throughout, gargoyles and demons and angels carved in teak wood throughout the house. A secret room in the basemen, huge attic with belongings from former owners from the 20's and 30's.. Totally gothic.
One day me and 2 friends were just hanging in the house after school, yes we were smokin., watching hawaii five-o when from upstairs we heard a man shouting very loudly, all of us jumped up,we were shocked and really scared.
It was really loud yelling for about 4-5 seconds but incoherent.
We grabbed a baseball bat and some fireplace pokers, walked upstairs real slowly.....and nothing.
I think it may have been one of the former owners pissed off.

I have other creepy stories from that old town,but that was the most creepy.

I've seen ghosts plenty of times.

One of the freakiest ones, though was on the night of my father's funeral.

I happened to be looking in my full length mirror when something gestured to me from inside the mirror (not the reflection) to follow. I said no, but it kept coming closer and gesturing to me.

I took off running downstairs and slept on the couch that night.
