I swear I saw a Mythbusters episode like that, they even put a lil mini cam on the creature and they lost the signal eventually, I think a predator ate it

Your post is a bit confusing but what I gather is you want to document what happens with this creature if released back into the 'wild'.
I suppose if you have the time....an endeavor like that could use allot of it up for you.
I don't know what you're constitution is (what kind of person you are) but I would imagine the average person would lose interest with a challenge like that in about 3 days or less.
The little thing would probably scurry under a mess of leaves and then likely spend most of his time trying to evade you every time you showed up and not actually adapting/living in the wild.
I suppose if you have the time....an endeavor like that could use allot of it up for you.

I think the outcome relies mainly on if the animal has been caught or raised by a caught animal or has a longer history of it's ancestors were all born and raised as domestic animals.
Then there would be a higher chance of it staying aroun, as being not as fit for living on its own
But I think the call of the wilderness would probably very fast taake over, unless you have some extremely attractive food or such around to lure it back.
