Picture editing

Hi all,

Can anyone recomend a good picture editing program that is able to take certain elements of a picture away, i.e take a specific person or object from a picture and paste onto a different background?

Photoshop or Paintshop will do the work. Paintshop is a good start but you will want to move on the Photoshop one day. Tutorials can be found everywhere.

If you want to just do some simple cutting and touchup work, try a program called Gimp. You can download it for free and it works pretty well. It doesn't have quite the capability of Photoshop, but then again it doesn't cost several hundred dollars either. There are even some tutorials to be found on YouTube to learn how to use it.

i have been using paintshop pro for years and recommend it, it's easy to learn, and corel makes free trials available. google "paintshop pro free trial" and you'll find a link or two.
