Pilot dies in mid-air

The captain of Continental Airlines flight 61 has died while flying the plane from Brussels to New York.

i was just reading this story its sad to hear when any1 dies good to see everyone eles was safe

I heard a joke once that went something like this:
A preist was afraid to fly and mentioned to his bishop this fear.
The bishop said don't worry my son nothing will happen to you unless it's your time.
Priest to bishop: "But what if it's the pilot's time?"



Is this too soon for this? Did I comit a faux pas?

PS I am glad to hear they were able to land OK and that everyone else is 'OK'
