Since this was suggested to me awhile ago, who would be interested in participating in a play by post D&D game?? I could also run Vampire (3rd ed) or another system since I know many. :)

Would be interesting but dont know how its works too myself. I mean I know of D&D but are you on about vampire the masquerade? And if so dont you need the rulebooks or some dung some more info on it probably get it kicked started.

D-rock

I'm too lazy to set a usertitle.
I would be interested, accept I always worry in the future if I'm going to be able to get on or is something will happen to make it so I can't play. I would feel bad if I started it and couldn't continue and leave everybody hanging.

I could easily set up the basic info anyone would need to play for just about any game suggested (if I know it, at least). I run games at conventions so those games are usually more focused on the roleplaying than the rules/rolls.

I'll have to look up some of the play by post sites/forums and see what all is involved. Depending on the game, it can be pretty easy to come up with a reason why you haven't posted for awhile. Especially if you play a thief or some sort of sneaky character. :)

I used to play D&D, CyberPunk, Paranoia and (yes) Call of Cthulhu quite a bit - since the group I played with focused more on the characters and having fun, this sounds like it could be up my alley.
Sure.

I am all up for it considering I was on the same thinking of D-Rock. Unable to make it online or something.

Though I'd prefer the sci-fi/middle earth-esque (Elder Scrolls comes to my mind) setting with very little usage of vampires. As much as I enjoy vampires... this whole new fanaticism of them is ruining any kind of fun that can be held with them. Even if they would be super powerful, killing machines instead of sparkly beasts!

No less. I am up for it. I would be somewhat new to the play by post theme. I am willing to give it a try. :)

I'm currently a player in a Vampire the Masquerade game and we were discussing how great Twilight and the popularism would be for maintaining the Masquerade. :)

And for those that don't know the game/system, it was put out by White Wolf a very long time ago. In modern days there are 13 clans in something called the Camirilla and they maintain the Masquerade which basically makes it so they can walk among humans. It's a fun d10 system that can easily take in the other systems from the World of Darkness...werewolf, mage, changelling (fae), zombies, wraith (ghosts), hunters, etc.

Hmm..I wonder how Paranoia would be with a play by post game. Remember, the Computer is your friend citizen.

Damn last post then I gotta go do something productive. Hell yea I be interested in that if more folks are and you give me a link on where I can read up on the rules. Played the masquerade game that troika made although it was a bit buggy it still was pretty revolutionary and seriously under rated game. Like probably one of the first to introduce first person elements alongside RPG elements way before others.

I'll be Tremere cause I like magic:D
