Please Help with my Virus!

Hey guys n gals,

I was hoping someone could advise me on how to remove a virus from my computer. It is affecting the internet explorer e.g. you can open a page and view it, but when you follow a link or click back, the who explorer shuts down giving the error “internet explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. Occasionally instead of Internet explorer has to close….. its comes up as “Dr Watson’s Post mortem debugger has experienced a problem…..”
Im using McAfee antivirus, with daily updates but this doesn’t seem to be detecting it. Does anyone know what ive got and how to remove it?

It could be other malaware. Download Spybot S&D and Adaware from PCworld.com. They are free and do a good job of finding other malaware that McAfee misses. I have personaly seen this many times.

if you know the name of the virus, search it in google, and you might be able to find a way to delete the virus, where some anti-virus softwares cannot

Just a question. You didn't pick that up in the Luci Lu thread did you? I mean you joined, posted there then started this thread. *shrugs* I hope not but would like to know.
