Police Slam Wrongly ID'd Man Into Wall - He's Now In a Coma

That cop should be slammed head first into a wall and end up in a coma as well. I wonder what the police will say to justify what he did?

Police instruments of the state. I don't mess with them, they don't mess with me...It's such a crazy world out there.

Damn that was fucking brutal.

Cops are our servants, not our masters. When will they learn?

Thank You ! They've never hassled me either. I know of areas where I could go to attract trouble, but I'm getting of the age where I've been there, done it, I want no moss ! :D

It's these radikal civvy rights activist attorneys and their websites out there, "copwatch" for one and the southern wealthy trial attorneys for the impoverished law center NOW ! types of inciters
that get their followers of the social justice faith to get all paranoid about cops in general  I mean, you add up the total number of deputies, city cops, Highway Patrol, Transit Police, State Police (not fed gov state police) etc. in all 50 states combined, of fucking course there's going to be a daily story or two about a bad cop or two. And like I said in another similar thread, the only reason why these "bad cop stories" are newsworthy is because they're anomalies in the grand scheme of things.

Speak up about the skyrocketing number of hit and run drunk driving offences by illegals and ohhhhhh, you're a racist. :D

Wonder if the guy in a coma was prone to rationalize any and every police action?

That makes no sense...maybe you could step away from your "cops are evil heinous meanies" agenda and compose a lucid sentence?

What can you say to rationalize what you want to do to him...you're no different from the officer who slammed the guy into the wall...'cept you're a girl and not a police officer.

I know. I normally take a moment and think about it but now I just posted the first thing that entered my mind when I saw how the victim was assaulted. Don't tell me you didn't think something similar. As for the police officer, I think he should be charged with voluntary manslaughter and put away for a long time. Any rational thinking person knows there's a possibilty of killing someone if you slam him or her head first into a wall.

The secret ingredient? MY BALLS
Ok, first of all, he didn't slam his head into the wall...he tackled the guy and he hit his head on the wall as a result from that. It's not like the officer grabbed the guy by his waist band and then spiked the top of his head through the wall.

Secondly, it looked like the guy was kiiiiind of trotting away from the police officer, which can be viewed as running from the police. I'm interested in seeing if there is any video footage that occured BEFORE this video clip started. From the looks of it, the man was trotting away from the officer, possibly trying to get away (who knows?). If that is the case, the officer had every right to take the guy down, especially since he was believed to be a suspect in an assault. If you are a suspect in an assault, the police aren't going to give you the benefit of the doubt and treat you as if you won't be a problem. They are going to take your ass down because you could be dangerous. In this case, the man wasn't the guilty party, but that officer was told by a witness that he was involved in the assault. So, the officer, taking full precaution, treated the man as being the suspect in the assault.

And, let's be honest here...

If this happened anywhere else, other than right next to a wall, this incident wouldn't even be an issue. It's unfortunate that this happened, but it was an accident. The guy's head hit the wall by accident; the officer didn't maliciously pound the guy's skull into the wall or anything, so why treat it as such? Oh wait, that's right...because he's a police officer. I almost forgot.

You're right about that. But he did push him into the wall at full force. Everybody can see that.

That's what I would do as well to protect myself. Are you implying you would just stand there and see what happens next? It also looks as if the man was trying to tell he didn't do anything wich is also what I would do if I were innocent like that man.

If this happened anywhere else, other than right next to a wall, this incident wouldn't even be an issue.

But it didn't. You and I and everyone else know damn well what's going to happen if someone's standing close to a wall and you push him/her into it at full force. It is what it is, the cop was wrong. You're trying to justify what he did because a woman who was assaulted gave the officer a description and it was the victims bad luck he just happened to fit it. Fitting a description is no reason for a police officer to assault someone like that.

But if you had the bad luck to fit a description and the same thing happened to you you'd just say; "hey, the guy was just doing his job".....right?

I should probably read the Board Rules...
That was pretty full on hey.. seemed a little excessive.

in some states of the USA, messing with cops is very dangerous. Plus at every moment, the suspect could have pulled a gun which may explain the very brutal reaction form the cop. I have read stories of cops being shot down at traffic controls. It is when you face once difficult situations where your life is on the line that you realize that preemptive actions and cautions are necessary. Ok I will recognize that sometimes the methods go overboard, but what would you do if a convicted felon researched for murder was speeding at more than 105mph on an interstate endangering his life and other people lives? I would drive a p71 crown vic for catching the perp (a fast police sedan which despite its weight is able to top 145mph), while driving I would use a paraord auto pistol or mossberg pumpgun and shoot the guy's car tires and windows. Then if he wouldn't get out of the car despite a loud warning, I would shoot 00 buckshots or sabot slugs in his car windows so he would know that he has no chance. I don't believe in softie methods with proven criminals. Don't jump at me because I expressed my honest opinion.

Thats kinda different to this story though, the individual in a coma was not guilty of any crime, in fact the only thing he was guilty of was looking like the suspect.

Wow. Welcome to lawsuit town. Population. That deputy. He just lost his job, pension and the city will get sued. I hope the guy also sues the person who pointed at him, falsey accused or whatever. That was so uncalled for, that person wasn't running or doing anything. He wasn't even commiting a crime. I promise you this, if that happened to me, I wouldn't have to work for the rest of my life after I sued their asses. I'd have that former deputy licking my very long driveway clean every morning, I'd own his ass.
