There's some truth here. I saw one of those lawyer ads on tv a while back that used a really effective line, something to the effect that if you're arrested you're the only one involved that's not a professional. Not all lawyers suck all the time, I miss our old friend Blue Countach, for example.

MAny lawyers are self serving but many more are kind generous people.
The main problem with police is the job itself attract an aggressive element whos motivation is not always to serve and protect.

I never met a lawyer whom I would describe as "kind and generous". Also, lawyers often morph into politicians so dishonesty, greed and corruption seem to be inherent in their DNA. Here's a good example of the prototypical lawyer:

About 12 guys I went to school with are career law enforcement the statement I made comes straight from the horses mouth.
You need to meet more lawyers there are certainly a great deal of schmucks but there are many more who good people.

Firemen help people, EMT's help people, social workers help people, Lawyers help people? No, lawyers only help out other lawyers. It's called settlements. Every settlement assures the lawyers get paid. Ever been involved in a class action suit? One of mine was settled with a $10 thumb drive for a faulty computer and the other was a $100 coupon off the next purchase of a new car at any GM dealership. Both sides lawyers of these 2 suits collected millions for their work settling these cases. Divorce lawyers? They face each other everyday in court. They will make deals to fuck a client in exchange for the other fucking their client. And as Jagger said, lawyers in politics isn't a coincidental thing. The same with judges. They come into the court room with a prejudice. It's a Good Old Boys network there. Ever wonder why those sidebars and conferences never have the actual plaintiffs and defendants there?

Some lawyers are good, decent, and honorable people personally and professionally. But too many from that profession are shameless scumbags. I've had the need for lawyers at times in my life but always wished I could've solved the problem on my own not putting money in their pockets.

I've met and dealt with more lawyers over the course of my life and career than you can possibly imagine so my opinion of them is based on a lifetime of personal experience. Their sole aim is to manipulate the law for their own (and, through association, their client's) interests regardless of the ethical or equitable ramifications.

Now, I'm certain there is a cadre of idealistic barristers out there who only want to see justice done and are wonderful, magnanimous people as you say. I've just never met any of them. Sorry but I'm permanently-damaged goods when it comes to lawyers.

Fuck it, let's just cut loose. I heard that the lawyers have conspired with the cops the spread chemtrails around and the resultant global warming caused Hillary to fall down and become brain damaged and she's the one who shot up Sandy Hook, but she did it without a gun because it never happened.
