Seriously dude, this type of lecture will get you nowhere. What you perceive as information, I perceive as attitude. Your attitude. His attitude. Get over yourself.
Honestly. Had you been sincere, with regard for the Entity you perceive as God, you would have actually made that with a little less judgement, and left it for His judgement. Instead, you went beyond that.
The irony is that so many Bible Thumpers like yourself make it about rules and regulations, when it's really about spirituality, common sense and the realities of time, education and authority. Honestly, I don't spite God because I don't feel the need, and there's more to the lesson of respecting authority in that message than any, singularity of attitude or event you wish to perceive.
You think you know, but you do not. You believe, but how solid are you? You read your Bible and have faith, but yet it has been written by man. I have a faith that goes beyond what men have written, but to the "Truth" you speak of only with great conviction. And there's no way anyone is going to tell me otherwise.
If God is not as I perceive Him to be, based on what my convictions and the obviousness of the truth that has resulted from my observations, then I do not want such a God. I know what a Sin is, and I don't have to debate it. I know what Blaspheme is and I do not waiver from that definition. Do you?
The question is of faith.
Quite ironically, songwriters and artists sometimes have more spiritual guidance in their lyrics than most Bible Thumpers do. That's pathetic. The world is what we make it. We can make it heaven or hell.
Blaspheme is about many things, but not what you think or want to lecture others on, in my conviction. Leave the alleged fools be, as you're not going to reach them or scare them into conviction. They have to find their own convictions in life, and they may very well be very different from yours -- and the Truth that we all seek.
At times like this, I think of the laughing Jesus. The same one that hung around with whores and convicts. If people don't get it, you're not going to get them to change. Even worse, to put the fear of God into them is not likely the best solution either, as I've seen that lead to the absolute wrong convictions at times.

It's about a reflection character ...
Let's say, regardless of whether you believe Jesus was the Son of God, you would do the same thing to someone who was like Him? Someone who hasn't, at least according to the Gospel, sinned, and lived a rich, full life helping people. How people mocked and stoned him because ... well ... just because. I am constantly reminded of the criminal on the cross next to Him, in utter disbelief that people went out-of-their-way to harm and otherwise show utter distain for Him, to the same level as a deserving criminal.
The point is, regardless of what may or may not come of it (please see my respond to the Bible Thumper to know I'm not one), it does show some generic disregard and not-so-favorable character on yourself, regardless of any "blaspheme." Ignore the Bible Thumpers. Responding in such a way only reflects poorly on yourself. Just saying dude.

It seems that my posts are being taken far more seriously than they used to be. Now, does that come with the fact that I've been here a while or my ever growing post count, but something similar to this in the last couple of months nothing would be said except maybe from the crazy person himself :dunno:.

Humans have more developed brains than any other animal on this planet, and with that brain power comes thought, thought about where we came from, about the future. There isn't another animal in the world i know of that gives a shit about what happens to them after they die, maybe they just can't tell us.
Put 3 people in a room, all 3 from a very different religion. Let's use..... a christian, a scientologist, and a native american that practices the 'old way'. Ok, now kill one and ask the other 2 where they think their 'soul' or 'spirit' will go. The christian will say they went to hell, because they didn't believe in jesus. The other 2 don't believe in hell, so they don't think they are going there, the indian believes his hell is his spirit wondering around lost on the earth for eternity (imo you would run into some buddies eventually, heck it might even be better than living). The point i'm trying to make is that everyone believes their religion is the right one, and everyone else is wrong. I think they are all wrong. I think religion is something that humans came up with over time with advanced thinking to try to explain who they are, and why they are here.
Why doesn't everyone believe that we are just animals living on a planet that can sustain life? Why has there got to be all these bells and whistles and a 'god' we have to worship or else we face eternal damnation. Fuck all that, who's paying my bills each month? Me.
