In these tough economic times I was wondering if any porn producers have thought about allowing people on their sets to watch the performers live. And, if so, could anyone direct us to such a production and also give us some idea of what the cost might be. Hopefully some producers out there have enough vision to do this.

Not gonna happen due to the public safety of the talent. For those kinds of kicks, try going to the Market Street Cinema in San Francisco or travel to Amsterdam or to the Philippines.
Once upon a time in Cicero IL, there was a classy joint [operated by organized crime? :dunno: ] called "The Show of Shows" a couple of blocks south on Cicero Ave from Roosevelt. For the entry price of a Ulysses S. Grant, you had the privilege of securing front row center full blown lesbian show with all the bells and whistles. Add three or four Benjamin's to the list and you can pick from the talent pool yourself for a romp in the back room. It wasn't a bad place for newbies to lose their 21 year old [legal] cherry, and thinking back, I think $12.00 dollars for a Coca-cola was a bit too much.
