problem with download to own movies

I have a couple vids I purchased from Elegant Angel. they are WMA files. they play great on my computer, but I was trying to see if i could burn them to a disc and play them on my PS3, so far with no luck. I have noticed that when i go to play them on my computer it says "downloading media rights"

does this mean i can only view them on my computer?

Maybe it's like when you download a game for xbox live , the download is linked to the console that downloaded it and it becomes a trial game on another console . Maybe the movies you have dowloaded are linked to your computer and they can't be played on another platform.:2 cents:
