Problem with Firefox

So every time I reopen Firefox, none of my passwords for any message boards stay saved,so I have to reenter my name and password everytime I log on.This is just a recent occurrence and I have no idea what the problem is.I just dl'ed the newest version of FF hoping that it would be fixed, but nope.

I've looked in the options under tools and I just don't know if the answer to my problem lies there.Any answers?

Is your option "Save password" checked or unchecked when you clear out history?

Only thing I can think of at the moment. I do not use the save password options or any of that sort with the internet. I like to make sure I am logged out when I log out and delete history including saved passwords when I close out my Firefox and shut down the computer for the night.

I just logged off and came back on and this piece of shit just changed my font and resized the screen.

I didn't change anything when it started going on the fritz.I'm tinkering with it now to see if I can get it back to the way it was.

Funny thing though, when I go to type my name in,it remembers that, but I still have to log on everytime I close FF.Computers are bullshit!

It is not your computer; it is something in one of your options regarding firefox. Did you go to troubleshooting or the FAQs section of Mozilla/Firefox itself and see what the problem and solving of the problem could be?

i had a similar problem in the past. this fixed it for me. first i uninstalled the firefox program completely and restarted the computer. then i downloaded the most recient version once again and reinstalled it. make sure that u set firefox as your default browser. that seemed to work for me. make sure you do the standard installation as well, not a custom one. good luck with the issue!

Seriously, let us know how your shit was disabled. I am always curious about these kinds of things

Try using ccleaner to clear out any detritus from your computer. Then log back into FreeOnes. Make sure 'Remember Me' is ticked.

(In Privacy, do you have 'Accept cookies from sites' ticked - just out of interest).

Version 3.5.2 ?? Also, try disabling any FF Add-ons you may have.

He doesn't need CCleaner. That is something else entirely, that doesn't even work, unless you buy a super-duper professional one and not a trial.

He probably just has something checked or unchecked, in the end.

So I just got home and I'm still screwing around with it.I just downloaded Sxipper Add-on.It's kind of a bootleg way for this piece of shit to remember my passwords and stuff, because you still have to verify instead of it just remembering it automatically, like it did before, but I guess it will have to do for now.
