The opposite example: Mr. Putin is popular and he can do almost anything.

And the 'wackos' in my country are fed a steady diet of 'its not your fault it theirs' and "we walk with god and they are heathens' but in the end its all just rhetoric to whip up emotions, create an us vrs them mentality, and dehumanize the opposition.
The vast majority of people in this country are moderates but moderates tend to have better things to do with there time than protest empty agendas or non issues we tend to focus are the truly harmful things facing America today.
As a moderate I believe that the issues in this country involve us all and that only an America that focuses on a 'we' approach to problem solving will ultimately solve that problem.
The sick thing is 'divide and conquer' is an age old tactic to the take over of a people and that my Finnish friend is what worries me.
